Client: South Devon Farm
Our Customer needed power for their new farm which included a house. They had been provided the usual huge quotation from National Grid and made far more sense to pay far less for their own power system which is able to provide the same as a standard rural grid connection.
The system has been installed in a utility shed near to the house and 30 @ solar panels onto a barn roof. Since installation, we have seen the system did not need generator assistance until well into December as we provided more than the usual quantity of panels for a system of this size. It was handy having a suitably sited barn enabling so much free electricity.
The whole system was installed and commissioned within a week. Customer kindly helped by trenching the armoured cables, which also kept their final bill down.
