Our customer needed to provide power for farm buildings and their new build home with all the usual domestic appliances.
Using our in-house calculator, we quickly put together a quotation for a 15kVA Victron Inverter along with 28kWh of Pylontech batteries which are charged by 30 @ 440W solar panels. As there was a nearby barn with an East and West roof aspect, it was straightforward to split the array for morning and afternoon solar radiation.
This system has proved to work very effectively, only starting to use the generator on occasion into December when the sunlight levels got really low.

Like so many holiday lets that are remote from the grid, they simply need power for lights, sockets to charge devices and maybe a washing machine and gas boiler. This Luxury accommodation needed all these and a bit more .
Even though the accommodation was within a woodland, there was a good clearing enabling us to make use of available south facing roof to install a row of solar panels. All the Victron power equipment has been installed within a cupboard inside the building along with a set of Pylontech Lithium modules close by for trouble free power generation. A small 6kVA remote start generator is programmed to start when the batteries do get too low, which like so many other systems, will be the Winter months.
